Stratford Hero

24Jan12

As meager as it is, we would like to express our condolences to the family of Lt. Thomas McCabe and to the entire FD in which he served. Lt. McCabe served the citizens and business of Stratford for 25 years. He dedicated his spare time to the Firefighter’s Burn Foundation and Benevolent Association. He was stationed at Company Three in Lordship and will be sorely missed. Lt McCabe was one of the good guys.

    Update:

FOUR months after the passing of Lt. McCabe his widow STILL has not received a penny from the Town.

Where is the FIRE DEPT UNION making this ISSUE known?

They make headlines when they want a FIRE TRUCK.

There are huge inequities within PENSIONS and treatment
of one worker or the other.

    George,

I suppose, unlike the Administration, they don’t call Brittany Lyte at the Post to make their case.
